Eimer Stahl represented Corn Products International, Inc. and its Chairman and CEO in a federal securities fraud class action.  Plaintiffs alleged that defendants made false or misleading statements regarding the company’s anticipated performance in violation of Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10-b(5) promulgated thereunder.  Eimer Stahl obtained a favorable settlement following depositions of the named plaintiffs and prior to the completion of class certification briefing.
