Serving as Chicago counsel for several banks in a putative class action pertaining to pre-World War II government-issued bonds and alleging multiple claims, including violations of international law, federal securities laws, and RICO.  Eimer Stahl represented its clients in both the Northern District of Illinois, where the plaintiffs’ complaint was dismissed, as well as in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, where the dismissal was affirmed.
