Eimer Stahl has recruited Alec Solotorovsky to join the firm as partner. Previously a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, he will focus on complex litigation.

Mr. Solotorovsky has extensive experience as a trial lawyer, handling bench and jury trials in state and federal courts across the country, as well as arbitrations. Mr. Solotorovsky has litigated complex commercial disputes involving contracts, private equity and other M&A transactions, trade secrets, post-employment restrictive covenants and executive employment. His clients have spanned many industries including finance, construction, health care, food, aerospace, education, retail, medical device and steel services.

A recipient of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois’s 2018 Excellence in Pro Bono Service Award, Mr. Solotorovsky has an active pro bono practice that includes civil rights work on behalf of incarcerated clients and counseling a local charter school on labor, employment and regulatory issues.

Mr. Solotorovsky is licensed to practice in Illinois and received his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Virginia.
