The Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights will be honoring Eimer Stahl next month with its Pro Bono Champion Award for the firm’s role in challenging restrictive voting rights laws in Indiana and for important election protection advocacy in Illinois.

Eimer Stahl and the Lawyers’ Committee have been partners in civil rights advocacy since the firm’s inception in 2000.  Many of the firm’s attorneys have worked on pro bono matters with the Lawyers’ Committee, successfully challenging disability discrimination, hate crimes, and educational inequities, in addition to advocating for voters’ rights. Several Eimer Stahl attorneys have served in leadership positions on the Lawyers’ Committee’s Board of Directors and its Young Leaders’ Network. The firm will be honored at the Lawyers' Committee virtual gala on December 3: “Righting Wrongs: Marching Onward to Equity." For more information on the Lawyers’ Committee’s gala, click here.
