Amy Miller is a Partner at Eimer Stahl and based in the firm’s Madison office. She focuses her practice on complex litigation and has extensive experience with high-stakes litigation, including high profile cases and appeals.
Amy has a particular focus on multi-party litigation and government regulation, especially in light of her previous work in government. She has managed pre-trial teams of multiple attorneys in headline-grabbing, bet-the-company lawsuits. Amy also has extensive experience managing complex, multi-party lawsuits, including antitrust, toxic tort, and product liability cases.
Prior to her work at Eimer Stahl, Amy was hired as the Assistant Wisconsin Solicitor General, where she was involved in dozens of successful appeals in the U.S. Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

Represented technology company in an antitrust class action alleging an agreement in restraint of trade.
Faith Technologies, Inc. v. The Interlake Steamship Co. (E.D. Wis.) – Obtained dismissal of complaint seeking a writ of attachment of vessel.
Obtained order compelling arbitration in putative class action alleging gender discrimination against major technology platform.
Representing American Transmission Company in multiple administrative proceedings before the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, including in connection with a high-profile, large-scale project serving southeastern Wisconsin.
Beyer v. Michels Corporation (E.D. Wis.) – Representing major energy and infrastructure company in wage-and-hour hybrid class-collective action alleging failure to pay overtime and bonuses.
Represented private college in putative class action alleging sex discrimination and consumer fraud, ultimately obtaining dismissal of the action on the pleadings.
County of Dane v. Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (Wis. Sup. Ct.; W.D. Wis.) – Represented former adjudicator in multiple actions, including successfully quashing a third-party subpoena.
Wisconsin State Senate, et al. v. City of Green Bay, et al. (Brown County; E.D. Wis.) – Obtained preliminary injunction against the City of Green Bay and its mayor for their installation and maintenance of audio surveillance devices in city hall in contravention of the Fourth Amendment and state privacy laws.
